DESCRIPTION

Asset devoted to new chemical products (including bioproducts) development and to make chemical processes more efficient from both productivity and economic point of view. Large and recognized expertise in chemical sysnthesis, separation technologies (g.e. membranes, electrodialysis), scaling-up reactions up to 20L, processes intensification(g.e. multichannel minireactors), catalysis (homogeneous & heterogeneous) as well as in chemical analysis techniques (g.e. GPC, GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, FTIR)

Manufacturing processes

MOST OUTSTANDING EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS

  • GC-MS with Headspace

    GC-MS with Headspace sampler and Bibliographic package of MS NIST and Cerno Mass Works exact mass software package and GPC (gel permeation chromatograph) that allows the determination of the molecular weight distribution in polymers.

  • Glass tank-type reactor

    Glass tank-type reactor with a packed column that can be operated as a fractional distillation equipment . (V= 20L; P= vacuum to 2 bar; T=up to 150ºC)

  • High pressure Parr-Type reactors

    High pressure Parr-Type reactors that allow to test fast catalysts performance in different catalytic reactions g.e. hydrogenation, polymerization, carbonylations etc. (V = from 100 to 3000 mL; P = from atmospheric to 200 bar; T= from RT to 350ºC

  • KMS Laboratory Cell CF-1 membrane test unit

    KMS Laboratory Cell CF-1 membrane test unit from Koch Membrane Systems that allows to select the most promising membrane by process conditions simulation. It is posible to perform process evaluation simply and effectively with ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis separation technologies.

  • Microactivity Reactor

    Microactivity Reactor, is an advanced modular laboratory system for measuring the performance of a catalyst in target catalytic reaction in continuous flow (gas or liquid).
    It can be easily adapted to the user's catalytic reactions problema and needs g.e. hydrocracking, hydrotreating, isomerization, hydrogenation, hydrodesulphurization (HDS),oxidation, hydrodenitrogenation (HDN), reforming (aromatization), steam reforming etc.(T= up to 900ºC, P = 100 bar)
