NAME Manufacturing Processes Workshop IMH-ASMAOLA

DESCRIPTION

Mechanical workshop equipped with several production machines, all of them for stock removal.. These machines, apart from being used for machining of prototypes, experimental machining trials for time and cost optimisation, pre-series for validation or approval of parts/products, etc., can also be used as tools for post-processing of manufactured parts using additive manufacturing technology. They therefore are a complement in the use of assets for Additive Manufacturing.

SERVICES OFFERED BY THE ASSET

Machining processes complementary to the additive manufacturing technology

Performance of machining operations for post-processing required in references/parts manufactured by additive manufacturing.

These assets provide numerous services related to the machining processes, and have been used in numerous projects, both in innovation and industrial projects.

- Optimisation of process times and costs. - Machining of pre-series for subsequent validation. - Definition of the industrialisation process on IMH machines (without any need to interrupt production at the production plant of the customer) and implementation on the production line of the customer. - Ad hoc training.
