Machining cell for critical components
Machining cell to define optimized working conditions ensuring the surface integrity condition.
The cell is composed by a vertical CNC lathe, a broaching machine and a CNC miling machine tool.
The cell is completed with several equipments that allow to measure essential aspects to be able to evaluate the result of the working conditions employed in turning, milling, micromilling and broaching (off line/on line). In this way, the measurement of the following parameters such as cutting forces, temperature, tool wear, roughness, resiaul stresses, material damage are allowed.
Some of the equipment is located in the materials laboratory and is accredited by the ENAC to carry out this type of measure. There are different types of microscopy (optics and SEM), macroscopy and profilometry.
Five axis CNC milling machine for machining complex components : blades, impellers, blisks (800x800x550mm)
External vertical broaching machine of 10Tm (hydraulic)
Materials laboratory equipped with optical and electronic microscope and microhardness measurement for material characterization
Equipment for measuring surface residual stresses by hole drilling in machined surfaces
Vertical CNC lathe for machining dics of 700mm diameter and 100mm thickness
