DESCRIPTION

Steel grades composition design with thermodynamic software and hardware to cast steel grades. Thermo-mechanical testing equipment. Processes simulation: continuous casting, hot rolling, forging, extrusion, hot stamping, HAZ of welding, microstructure relationship mechanical properties, etc. Materials testing: Heat treatment cycles, hot tensile tests (ductility), hot uniaxial compression test (true strain-stress curves), susceptibility to cracking SICO, post-deformation dilatometry, thermal fatigue, melting and solidification, etc.

  • Dilatometer Linseis L78 RITA

    The Quenching/Deformation Dilatometer L78 RITA is especially suitable for the determination of TTT, CHT and CCT diagrams. The special induction furnace enables heating and cooling speeds in excess of 2500°C/s. The system complies with ASTM A1033.

  • Fives Celes Cold Crucible with Vacuum Pump

    The cold crucible combines both melting and levitation of metals, which limits or eliminates any contact between the crucible and the melt and, consequently, any pollution with particles resulting from the deterioration of the crucible.
