DESCRIPTION

Tecnalia Printing Centre covers from the printing material formulation or re-formulation (inks and pastes) to the integration in parts to introduce novel functionalities. Some of the applications targeted are antennas, cable substitution, illumination or printed electronics . The platform has three main printing systems (ink-jet printing; screen printing and microdispensing ) and benefits from the know-how in nanomaterialdispersion/functionalization to adapt the solutions for each system and application. It also profits from substrate modification techniques (chemical, plasma, etc...)and the Plastics and Composites know-how for the embedding of the solution in different parts. It is also important to mentionthe curing techniques available: UV, Thermal, (forming gas) laser and plasma in order to tune the temperatura to the substrate and application.
