NAME High power VCSEL technology for tailored thermal treatments

DESCRIPTION

The High power VCSEL, (Vertical Cavity Surface Emiting Laser) module is a singular device patented by PHILIPS, composed by a defined number of emission sources individually controlable. Together with the . proprietary software DATAVCSEL, enables to provide spatially and temporally controlable temperature profiles in the workpiece by one-shoot, offering a pioner solution for new products with enhanced customer oriented functionalities. It overcomes the limitations of conventional laser systems and heat sources regarding spatial flexibility part size and productivity.
